Every Student Makes the Team.
Student life at Capital City Sports Academy is built around one promise: every student makes the team. Our Tigers compete in basketball, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, and flag football — with no cuts and no child left on the bench. Athletics are part of the school day rather than an after-school add-on, so every student in kindergarten through 8th grade participates. Beyond sports, students join clubs, take monthly field trips, perform in school plays, and grow inside a positive school culture program that teaches leadership and teamwork on purpose.
Athletics
Basketball · Soccer · Volleyball · Cheerleading · Flag Football
At most schools, sports are for the students who make the cut. At Capital City Sports Academy, athletics are part of the school day and open to every student — regardless of skill, size, or experience.
What That Means in Practice
- No cuts. Every student who wants to play, plays.
- Sports are in the school day, so participation doesn’t depend on a family’s work schedule or transportation.
- Coaching for every level, from a first-time player to a competitive athlete.
- Discipline, teamwork, and accountability are the point — the wins are a byproduct.

Positive School Culture
Capital City Sports Academy runs a positive school culture program built on clear schoolwide expectations and consistent recognition. Character is taught deliberately here — integrity, accountability, and service are named, modeled, and reinforced daily rather than assumed.
Leadership and teamwork are part of the program, not a byproduct of it.
